French online marketing company Azalead has raised EUR 2 million to help sell its B2B platform that informs clients in real time when their website is being visited. Azalead’s suite includes a tool that allows clients to contact and communicate with website visitors, and makes the connection for them. Azalead was founded by Nick Heys, a Brit who had launched e-marketing company SmartFocus in the 1990s. The company has a database of 280,000 IP addresses and 75,000 businesses. Access is free for the first 100 contacts, then costs between EUR 500 and EUR 2,500 a month.
